Jana Nayagan, directed by H. Vinoth, marks Vijay’s 69th and reportedly last film before his full-time political entry. Produced by KVN Productions on a massive ₹300 crore budget, the political action thriller releases worldwide on January 9, 2026.​

The star-studded cast includes Pooja Hegde as the female lead—her second collaboration with Vijay after Beast—alongside Bobby Deol as the antagonist, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Narain.​
